Texas Children’s Hospital is an official Run for a Reason charity. The Chevron Houston Marathon Run for a Reason Program connects the philanthropic community to passionate race participants willing to fundraise and raise awareness for meaningful causes. The Run for a Reason program is a way for runners to run the race of their choice with a guaranteed entry. By signing up to run and fundraise on behalf of Texas Children’s Hospital, your donations will directly impact the lives of countless children. Your race will become the race for our patients who are too sick -- sometimes too sick even to play outside. Your support will allow us to expand our care to even more children who need our help.

FUNDRAISING FOR REGISTRATION
Fundraising for Registration entries give runners an opportunity to fundraise on behalf of Texas Children’s Hospital. Runners agree to raise the minimum amount of $750 for either the Chevron Houston Marathon or Aramco Houston Half Marathon and Texas Children’s will pay the runner registration fee.
HERO REGISTRATION
HERO entries are guaranteed registrations into the Chevron Houston Marathon or Aramco Houston Half Marathon by making a one-time tax-deductible donation of at least $350 to an official Run for a Reason charity, plus the cost of registration. Texas Children’s Hospital has a limited number of Hero entries and are available on a first come first serve basis. HERO runners receive some awesome benefits, which can be seen here: Runner benefits

CORPORATE PARTNER PROGRAM
Your company will be recognized as a prominent supporter of the Run for a Reason program through a variety of advertising, marketing and networking benefits that will be activated before, during and after race weekend. By contributing a tax-deductible donation to Texas Children’s Hospital, your company’s name and logo will appear on the race course, at the pre-event EXPO, on the event website and more. Contribution levels and benefits range from $2,500 to $10,000 and include a limited amount of race entries.
