Established in 1954, Texas Children’s Hospital is one of the nation’s largest and most comprehensive specialty pediatric hospitals. We record more than 9,000 patient encounters every day. Texas Children’s is consistently ranked as one of the nation’s best children’s hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. In 2017, Texas Children’s was ranked No. 4 in the country overall, and No. 1 in cardiology and heart surgery. This success is a testimony to the expertise and skill of a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and staff who are committed to caring for all patients who come to us for help.
