Changing Lives. Building for the Future.

MainStreet America cordially invites you to attend our 8th Annual Gala benefiting The Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute at Texas Children’s Hospital!

In 2012, Barbara and Mike Feigin launched MainStreet America — a place where people can find anything they could possibly imagine for building, decorating or remodeling a home. To celebrate, they also established the MainStreet America Gala to support the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute (NRI) at Texas Children’s Hospital. This endeavor started as a personal one for the Feigins who have two young nephews facing the day-to-day challenges of living with rare neurological disorders. Mike’s father, the late Dr. Ralph Feigin, considered the most important pediatrician of the past 25 years, was one of the great visionaries of the NRI. Today, there have been significant breakthroughs in neurological disorder research at the NRI, and so many more are being studied. Thanks to the support from generous donors in our community, since the inception, the gala has raised over $1.5 million, to support the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute (NRI) at Texas Children’s Hospital.
